Jane & Nour are getting married in Seoul

Beauty Treatments in Korea

Before the wedding, get facial massages and lighter, surface level treatments like "Aquapeel," but please refrain from any intense lasers or needles. Everyone reacts differently and even though some people look fine after Ulthera, Jane looked like a Chad for seven days.

Treatments you shouldn't get pre-wedding:

Botox: you shouldn't sweat or exercise after botox and we might be dancing up a storm!

Lasers/ultrasound: the swelling can be intense for up to three days.

Skin boosters: (Like PDRN or Cinderella shots) leave raised bumps on your face for up to seven days after, although everyone reacts differently.

Needles: you might bruise, and drinking can make it worse since alcohol is a blood thinner.

Save it for after the wedding!

Facial massage / golki therapy:

Traditional Korean massage for face and body make more of a difference than any medical treatment!

CCLIME

Jane and Nour have been here and we like it! It's not relaxing, but you will be lifted! Golki therapy facial massage that’s not too painful: https://www.instagram.com/cclime_global/

Dalia Aesthetic

I’ve never been able to get an appointment but it focuses on facial rebalancing, lymphatic drainage, bone alignment, and smoothing out body lines.

Yakson Myeonga

I haven’t been but I hear it’s painful, it focuses more bone structures. Some people see incredible results! They also have body treatments for alignment.

Sulwhasoo Spa

The Contemporary spa has lower price points and the Heritage spa is a bit fancier. They also have body treatments!

Spa Gogyeol

Authentic Korean massage, somewhere between Swedish and Thai. It’s best if you reserve on Instagram and Paypal the deposit.

Medical beauty:

I don’t have specific recommendations, but in general I feel like most places are good!

I go to a place that’s all Korean. They don’t have English-speaking staff, although the doctor’s English is pretty good. It’s also slower since there’s only one doctor, and they don’t have a price chart in the same way because many treatments are bespoke. I can give you the location and recommendation by request.

For a budget-friendly location, Tox’n’Fill has English-speaking staff, affordable and clear pricing, and really high turnover, which I consider to be a good thing. A great option for beginners since you won’t waste too much time, but might feel less “relaxing.”
